Human Rights Committee

The Human Rights Committee, chaired by Nina Gordon, acts as a guardian of the Bill of Rights by steadfastly buttressing the wall of separation between prayer and policy, unequivocally championing free speech and loudly speaking out on behalf of women, immigrants, citizens of color, the disabled, and members of the LGBTQ community. It puts elected officials’ feet to the fire, either face to face or via demonstrations and letter-writing, challenging them to work uncompromisingly for the benefit of their constituents.

For 15 years we have been in your corner fighting the good fight. Once a month we present a speaker on a topic of timely interest and we challenge you to act. We occasionally have special weekend or evening events so more people can get involved with us and what we do. Our committees work tirelessly contacting legislators, writing to publications and at times putting bodies on the line to make change happen. But we cannot do this without you. Come to our meetings. Participate in our actions. But most of all support us financially. A year long membership costs only $45. You can make a check out to Reach Out America and mail it to P.O. Box 222057, Great Neck, New York, 11022 or simply click the donate button at left to pay online. (Please include the word "membership" in the space below the dollar amount marked "special instructions to the seller"). It's a small price to pay to protect our health, our freedom, our constitution, our country and our world.
If you would like to make a donation or pay your dues by using your Zelle account, go to your bank app click, transfer,  then send money and put email address Reachoutamericali@gmail.com

We succeeded in getting Joe Biden elected but there is still work that needs to be done.
As you may know there were no clear winners in the Georgia Senate election. As a result Jon Ossoff and Reverend Warnock must face their opponents once again in a runoff election.  The balance of power in the senate hinges on this runoff.
We are urging all who have the means, to donate, whatever they can to their campaigns.
The best way to get funds to them is directly through their campaign websites:

Thanks to everyone for their continued support of the Democratic process.
