Elections. ROA's work includes: supporting progressive candidates through post carding, leafleting, phone banking and inviting them to address our membership; distributing voter registration forms and teaching the electorate how to absentee vote and use the new ballot machines; and, acting as a watchdog to ensure that the voting process is free, open and fair. In the future this committee will fight for more voting days, easier absentee voting, election day registration, and, challenging voter suppression and unsubstantiated claims of voter fraud.
